- Choose a costume that will be comfortable for the Halloween event you are attending. If you will be outside, choose a costume that will be appropriate for Halloween weather. Make sure that you have the appropriate footwear for your costume, so that you can be comfortable if you are trick or treating or dancing.

- Never sacrifice quality for price. Most of the costumes at Walmart, K-Mart, Target, and other low-cost retailers are low cost because they are lower quality. We have many clearance costumes that are still affordable without sacrificing quality.
- Choose a costume that is creative and that fits your personality. It never hurts to have a backup costume in case you have more than one Halloween party to attend, or your costume does not work out.
